Wedding Shower Games
Advice
for the Bride
Cut construction paper into small heart shapes and attach
pipe cleaner. Hand all of the guests one with a pen and ask
them to write "advice for the bride" example, "never go to
bed together mad".
Place completed hearts in a vase and ask the bride to read
them out loud. This is a great keepsake for the bride.

Collage
Separate the guests into several teams. Have an assortment
of magazines (usually 3-5 per group), glue, scissors and an
11x14 piece of construction paper, for each team. Give each
team a list of WORDS and or PICTURES (usually about 15 items
of either or combination of both) of things that they need
to find in their magazines that they need to glue to the
paper. First team finished wins! Now what do you do with the
collages?? Give them to the Bride to be of course! So when
making up your "items" put a little fun in them like...."A
man in jeans Butt" the word "Penis" the "Name of the Bride
to be" (that one can be tough to find so they can cut out
some letters for that one...that should be the HEADER of the
paper) or perhaps you want to find words that describe the
bride to be. The suggestions are endless!
Peculiar
Game
This is a rather peculiar game
It really does not have a name
It's simple to play as a game should be
You just do as you're told, you see
So now if you'll please give me your attention
We'll put an end to this suspension
In the end, whoever scores the most
Will receive a prize of which to boast
Now since you're all fashionable girls
Give yourself 5 if you have any pearls
You may add 3 if your toes peek out
And earrings will give you 2 more to shout
Score yourself 5 if you show any red
Add 6 more for a curl on your head
Now before you think you are going to win
Take away 2 for each safety pin
Give yourself 6 if your pants are tight
Add 1 for a scarf which is just about right
Add 5 more if your shoes are black
And take away 3 for a zipper in back
Now count all your buttons, for each you get 2
And take away 1 for each button that's blue
Give yourself 5 if your heels are high
And why not take 10 for the green in your eye
10 more points for a rose on your clothes
Take away 5 if you forgot to wear hose
If your husband you kissed today - add 9
If you didn't subtract 12 - you're subject to fine
This is the end...there isn't anymore
Who is the lucky lady with the highest score?
Scrambled Words
Make a list of several words associated with weddings (i.e.
marriage, husband, wife, bridesmaid, groom, bride,
honeymoon) and then scramble them. Give the guests 2-3
minutes to try to figure them out. The guest that figures
out the most correctly win the prize. more
games
Who
Knows the Bride Best
This is similar to the Trivia game. Only the Bride
to be fills out an info sheet on herself (favorite food,
restaurant, pet, place she wants to live ..etc.) she should
have about 20 things. For example: If you could live
anywhere in the world, where would it be? What is your
favorite place to eat lunch? Give the same questions to each
guest and have them fill out what THEY think her answers
would be. -----Got the idea?
I NEVER
The first person starts out with a true statement (I never
kissed before) and anyone that has done whatever the person
says has to throw in (pennies, candies, or you have the
people eat candies starting out with 10 or whatever you
decide to use).
The person with the most items left wins. It's a funny game!

Purse
Power
This is a great game! Have all the guests have their
purses in front of them for this game. Make a list
(beforehand) of common and uncommon things that can be found
in a woman's purse. Assign each item a point value.
(hairbrush might be worth 2 points, lipstick 3 points/5 if
it is red, mirror...etc.) Uncommon items should have a
higher point value (lotion, staple remover....you get the
idea!) Liven things up a bit and put down a condom and value
that at 20 points! The list is endless and is great fun!
Keep the items simple and not too uncommon or you may wind
up with an unhappy guest who doesn't have anything but a
wallet in her purse!!
VARIATION to this game might be: Have the BRIDE to be
hold the "master" and let her decide what "item" should be
found and the first person to present that item receives the
points for that round. You will need a score keeper or let
them keep their own.
Party Piñata
This is for a bridal shower/bachelorette party. The person
planning the party buys an empty piñata, or makes one, and
fills it with dirty little favors, instead of kiddies candy,
such as condoms, Hershey kisses, lollipops (lil' suckers), a
lace garter (for bride), and other kinky toys and items.
When the bride hits the piñata and breaks it, out pops out
these dirty little surprises that will make a memory of a
lifetime! more games
The Bell Game
Each guest that comes to the shower gets a small liberty
bell on a ribbon necklace. They wear the necklace until
taken away by another guest. You lose your necklace by
saying the bride or grooms names. You may only refer to them
as the "bride" or the "groom". The guest with the most bell
necklaces wins.
Bridal Dress
Before the shower, purchase several rolls of white toilet
paper. At the party, divide the guests into two or more
groups of 3-5 people. Each group must choose a model for
their wedding dress (mothers of the bride and/or groom work
wonderfully). The goal is for each group to design and
fashion a "wedding dress" out of toilet paper. Accessories
are allowed (earrings, bouquets, trains, headpieces, wedding
ring, etc.), but they must all be fashioned out of toilet
paper. Once the groups are finished, the bride must pick the
winner of the contest. This is my favorite bridal shower
activity. And brides love this contest for the wonderful
photo-memories it provides.
Design the Bride's
Dress
In groups of four, one person is the model and the other
three are the designers. They design a dress that they think
the bride would like. When everyone is done, the bride
picks the one she likes best and that group is the winner.
Depending on how many people are at the shower, you can show
them to the bride in a fashion show style.

Exchanging
Gifts
You will need some floor space to play this one... get
everyone in a circle and place some wrapped gifts in the
center, usually a number less than the number of guests that
arrive. Wrap them in all different size boxes, and colors
and pretty them up with a bow or unique wrapping paper. The
gifts should range from a really cheap joke or an
inexpensive (like the anything less then $1.00 stores) to a
few nicer gifts (bath beads, little picture frame ..etc.)
Set a timer for about 10 minutes (longer if you have more
then 15 guests). Start with the Bride-to-be. Give her a set
of dice and tell her to roll them. If she gets doubles, she
picks out a prize in the center of the circle. Then start
passing the dice around the circle. Anyone that gets doubles
may take a prize from the circle. Once all the prizes from
the center are gone (this is where the FUN begins!) the
guests can start to taking gifts from the other guests, when
they roll doubles or "trade" with another guest. Keep
passing the dice around until the timer goes off. Whoever
has the gift at the end gets to keep it! It is funny to see
what gift the guests start fighting over because of the
shape/size of the box or even the wrapping paper. Nine times
out of ten the guests end up fighting over that joke gift!
...NOTE... as you may have been able to guess, NONE of the
gifts can be opened until the timer goes off at the end!
Skirt Tails
Whenever the guests arrive you hand out to them one per
person a clothes pin. (a cute idea is to decorate wooden
pins with names or pictures) whenever they get it, you pin
it to your skirt tail or the bottom of your pants leg. You
are not allowed to cross you ankles or legs. If you are
caught with any of the two crossed the person who notices it
runs over and takes you pin. The person with the most pins
wins the prize to give to the bride. This is a fun game to
play and it really brakes the ice. After the shower is over
all of the decorative pins are given to the bride. Some pins
may even have her name/his name and even the date on them.
It is a very interesting way for her to look back on her
shower and it brings back smiles. You will be surprised
how some women get aggressive about getting the most pins.

The Wedding is
Over
Tell the guests and bride to pretend the wedding is over and
it is the wedding night. The motel/cruise boat/etc. that the
couple is staying in loses all electricity and the bride
must prepare for her wedding night in complete darkness.
Next blindfold the bride and hand her a suitcase. He must
put on everything in the suitcase. Put items in it such as
sunglasses, men's underwear, big bra, work gloves, or
anything else that may bring a laugh. (She puts all this on
over her clothes!) When she is done take a picture ...it's
hilarious!
Famous TV Couples
Write down the last names of at least 20 famous TV couples,
and your friends and family have to put in the first names.
give only about 5 minutes to guess the names. then read the
first names and the TV show that thy were from. it's a fun
game to play, who ever gets the most wins the game.
Touchy-Feely
You can use paper or cloth bags, so that the guests are able
to feel the item. Find about 10-15 common items around the
house (i.e. remote control, video tape, pen, tooth brush,
etc.) and place the items in each bag. Pass the items around
for the guests to feel. They're allowed to 15-30 seconds to
hold the bag, then they must pass to the next guest. They
should have a pen and paper to write down their guesses. The
guest with the most correct answers wins.
more games
The Apron Game
Buy an apron and have the bridal party buy lots of utensils
to pin on the apron. Make them practical and a couple of
things they would never think of buying until they need
them. Pin all of the items on the apron. Have the bride wear
the apron in front of all of the guests. Have her walk
around the room for about 2 minutes. Then have the bride go
into another room and have the guests try to list as many
things as they can remember seeing pinned to the brides
apron. The person with the most wins! Then tell the bride
she gets to keep the apron!!
Match Them
Cut out pictures from the local paper of couples celebrating
their 50th (etc.) anniversaries. Usually along side the
picture is their wedding picture. Mix them up and have the
guests guess then and now.
Musical Bouquet
Take a bridal bouquet along with a CD (love song
collection). As long as the music is playing, the party
guests should pass the bouquet around until the music stops.
The person with the bouquet when music stops should have a
seat. The last person standing is the winner.
more games
Pass the Corsage
Each guest that comes to the shower gets a corsage. They
should wear the corsage until taken away by another guest.
You lose you corsage by saying "bride" or "groom".
The guest with the most corsages wins.
Balloon
Put questions in about 10 balloons. These questions should
really be personal or embarrassing. When the bride to be
gets it wrong she should down a tot of brandy or whatever
mixture is made on for her.
Creating the Veil
Collect veil material, ribbon, thread, flowers etc. ahead of
time and make enough sets for the number of people who are
attending the shower. Each will create a veil for the bride
in a given period of time. Have someone else judge which is
most creative, prettiest, wildest etc. Prizes are nice. Have
the bride model each as they are judged. more
games
Make up the bride
Get a variety of colors of cosmetics, (bright reds, greens,
purples, the louder and bolder the color, the better). Ask
for volunteers. Have the bride sit in the middle of the
room. Have the volunteer choose a cosmetic. Blindfold the
volunteer. Blindfolded volunteers are to "make-up" the
bride. Then, the bride and make-up artists pose for a photo.
This gets absolutely hilarious.
Secret Word
When guest arrives have a board with your secret word hid on
it and let them know that who ever is the first to use the
secret word to the bride is the winner. (example) secret
word is (nervous) if some one asks her if she's nervous is
the winner.
Kitchen Shower Game
Either purchase an assortment of kitchen utensils or use
what you can find in yours. Attach cord or ribbon to each.
Let guests decorate bride with 'things she will need to
'become familiar with'. They can be creative about where
they hang these to her body. She should 'wear' these for a
while at least, and then have her picture taken. If items
were purchased, they can be given to the bride.

Smell the herbs
Take 10 Styrofoam cups and fill them with 10 different
herbs. Place aluminum foil over the top with a small whole
in the center. Pass around the cups and let everyone smell
the herbs (no peeking) and whoever gets the most right wins.
Honeymoon
Adventure
When the bride is opening the presents for the shower, have
someone discretely jot down the phrases she says. For
example, "oh...this is wonderful," or "oh, this is so big!",
or "I've never seen this before."
Then you take all these phrases and put into phrases or like
a story of how their honeymoon is going to go. This is the
funniest thing I have ever seen, and everyone can't help but
laugh!!! more games
Can You Blow
Purchase round balloons (8 inch rounds work best). Poke
holes with a pin in one before the party. Place the pierced
balloon strategically so the bride selects it when you pass
them out or hand the balloons out so the bride receives the
pierced one. Instruct your guests that the person whom blows
up the balloon till it explodes wins. In the meantime the
bride can't seem to blow up her balloon at all. It's a lot
of fun to watch as the brides realizes she been had.

Cotton Ball Game
Each guest who participates is blindfolded. Cotton balls are
spread on the floor. The guest is given a large plastic
spoon and a bowl. The object of the Cotton ball Game is to
pick up as many cotton balls with a spoon and put them in
the bowl while blindfolded. The guests are given 1 minute.
The guests who picks up the most gets a prize. *The game
works best with small groups because the Cotton Ball Game is
a one person game, however the game can be played as teams.

Bridal Pictionary
Write down as many names of things associated with weddings
and brides on slips of paper. Put the slips into a bag.
Divide all of the guests into two teams. One person from
each team gets a chance to draw the word on a slip of paper
pulled out of the bag, and the team must guess what is being
drawn in one minute. If the team drawing doesn't guess the
word, the other team gets one minute to guess it. As they
guess correctly, each team gets a point. The winning team
with the most correct guesses wins the prizes.

Penis Perfection
Play dough is inexpensive, so the hostess buys each guest
their own container. With the timer set for 1-3 minutes
(depending on your opinion) each guest try's to shape their
play dough into the best penis, and when the timer goes off,
each penis is set on the floor in the middle of the room,
and the bride to be judges the best looking one, and
possibly maybe a prize for the worst looking one (but don't
tell your guests that, or they will try hard to make it look
bad). It is also neat as they lay on the floor to take a
picture of all of them together, and to see how colorful
they look with the different color play dough.

Name that Bride
Cut out the faces of the brides in bridal magazine pictures
and replace them with the faces of celebrities (popular and
not-so-popular). Pass them around and have everyone write
down their answers/guesses. The person or persons with the
most correct answers wins a prize. more games

How Well Do You Know the
Bride?
Have pre-printed paper with different questions about the
bride, etc What is the brides favorite color, What does the
bride plan to name her first child, what size does she wear?
Pass the paper out to the guests and set a time limit who
ever gets the most correct is the winner.

Caught In the Middle
Have everybody sit in a circle. Get several brown lunch bags
and put something in them (make-up, baby food, clothing
items). Start some music and pass a bag around. When the
music stops the person with the bag and the person who
handed them the bag must go to the center. Both are
blindfolded and then the contents of the bag are revealed.
The one with the bag must do something with the object to
the other person (feed baby food, put the lipstick on). It's
really funny, especially when the person with the bag can't
figure out what the object is.
Date Game
Starting with the person sitting to the left of the bride,
go around the room until each guests has told their birthday
or the date of their wedding anniversary. The person whose
date is closes to the wedding wins a prize.

Memories
This sentimental and emotional game was played at my sisters
bridal shower. All the guests have to sit around in a circle
and starting from the person to the left of the bride
everyone states what they most fondly remember about the
first time they met the bride or they're most cherished
memory about friendship or the happiest memory. Though I
suggest this game should be played at an only female shower
since 99.9% everyone especially the bride dabs their eyes!
Create the Future
Break the guests up into groups and give each group a stack
of old magazines, scissors and a photo album page. Assign
each group a topic i.e. the couples courtship, honeymoon,
their home, kids, ect. Have each group make a collage
pertaining to their topic by cutting pictures out of the
magazines. Once finished, put all the pages into an album
and pass it around. It is hilarious to see what everyone
comes up with.
Operator
All of the shower guest sat in a circle. The person to the
left of the bride starts by saying, "My name is Mary and I
am going to Jennifer's bridal shower and I brought many oven
mitts" (The point is to make your "gift" start with the same
letter of your first name. This is very important because it
is a clue for the other part of this game.) Then the person
to the left of Mary would say "My name is Sally and I am
going to Jennifer's bridal shower and I brought seven silky
slips and Mary brought many oven mitts." Continue around the
circle with each person saying their name and "gift" and
then also reciting the names and "gifts" of the people who
had already taken a turn. more games
Recipe for Marriage
What you do is give everyone a piece of stationary and have
them right down what they would consider a recipe for a good
marriage would be. When everyone is done you have them fold
their recipe in half and put it in a bowl or hat and you
then draw the recipes out one by one and read them off and
everyone has to guess who may have written the recipe. It is
not only a good way to get to know each other and laugh but
you can only imagine what kind of recipes you get.
Where's My Underwear
Each guest is asked to bring a brown paper bag containing
their favorite sleepwear. The bride gets to guess who it
belongs to. It's fun because someone will just have a crummy
old T-shirt and socks, someone will have a frilly nightgown,
someone will have a mu-mu. It's really a hoot. The guests
will get an idea of the other guest's personality (fun,
crazy, sexy whatever).
Complete Set of New
Plates
a bridal shower at one of those paint-your-own ceramics
shops. The bride selected a color scheme and each of the 8
girls in attendance painted a dinner plate using the color
scheme, but added a little of their own personalities as
well. All the while, the shop serves coffee and pastries and
plays funky music. By the end of the shower, the bride ends
up with a complete set of casual dinner plates, personalized
by her best friends! more games
Bizarre Wedding
Advise
guests were given two slips of paper. One piece was to write
down a question related to a marital problem. The second
slip was to write down the answer to the problem they came
up with. Then, a bridesmaid mixes up all the slips of paper
and puts together questions with unmatched answers. It
creates some interesting advice!
Build a Groom
Borrow a set of the groom's clothes, long pants, long
sleeved shirt, socks, shoes, gloves, and a hat if he wears
one. Stuff the clothes with gifts for the bride. Wax paper,
handy wrap, aluminum foil, rolling pin, etc. Make good arms
and lower legs, paper towels work the best for thighs.
toilet paper works good for a chest, and 2 bowls put in a
pair of panty hose work for the head. for the extras two
sets of inexpensive measuring spoons taped together spoon to
spoon can be placed in the pants. This handsome groom may
sit in a chair at the side of the room when guests arrive.
the bride gets to undress him as part of her opening gifts
don't let her know what's up in advance.
Vowels Using Songs
At my bridal shower we had this game that everyone was split
up into groups of 4 or 5 and each group had to help the
bride write her vowel's using only songs it was so funny and
some were even so sweet it made me cry.
Truth In M&M's
Pass around a bag of m&m's, have everyone take how many as
they wish. When everyone is done, they then have to tell one
thing about the bride for how many candies they have in
their hands. NO EATING ANY!!! more games
Story Telling
Ask the bride ahead of time to tell you about how she met
her groom, and different things about their life together.
Put a simple story together using store products. Ex: Many
years ago, a handsome young man (groom's name) met his
"Lucky Charm". You can either purchase all the products
yourself and present them to the bride as you read the
story, or write a product on each invitation and ask that
person to bring it to the shower, unwrapped. I usually buy a
laundry basket to set in front of the bride to put the
products in as the story goes on. Be creative, there are so
many things you can use. Here are just a few of the things I
have used in the past: Luv's Diapers, Trix, Cheer, All, Life
cereal, Manwhich (she knew this was the manwhich she wanted
to spend her life with), Pledge, Charmin (he was very
charmin), bounce, secret, carrots (how many carrots in the
ring) sparkle, snickers, and so on.
Hanger of Wisdom
My aunt took one of those fancy padded hangers (in ivory,
one of my colors), added a burgundy appliqué (my other
color), then she attached several long ivory ribbons. At
each end, she tied little white cards (with a whole punched
in the corner of each), so that the ribbons hung down about
a 12-18 inches. The hanger had a note saying that it is for
me to hang my dress after the wedding, but for the shower,
it should be passed around, so that all the guests could
write a special message or prayer for me and my fiancé. What
a NEAT way for me to have a special reminder of the day!
Date Game
Starting with the person sitting to the left of the bride,
go around the room until each guests has told their birthday
or the date of their wedding anniversary. The person whose
date is closes to the wedding wins a prize.
more games
On Their Wedding Night
While the bride is opening her gifts, have one person write
down everything she says every time she opens a gift. When
she is finished, have someone read the list addressing it as
"Things so-and-so will say to her new husband on her wedding
night." It's really funny because things like "Wow, it's so
big," and "Oh, it's heavy" come out.
What Year?
Pick a year with the bride-to-be where a lot things
happened/things took place. Once you both pick a year, then
you must present these things to the guests in the form of a
question. (Kind of like Dateline). You must then give them 3
or more different years to chose from. The one who guesses
correct is the winner. Here are some examples of questions:
What did she first kiss a boy?, What year did she go on her
first date...etc.. Another to add, is to pick a song or
something that occurred in the media.
Mouse Trap Game
First tie a long string to the back of a belt. Give each
player a raw hot dog. When it is her turn, each player
should carefully tie the string to one end of her hot dog.
(You may also poke a hole in the hot dog and thread the
string through.) She then puts the belt on and the hostess
adjusts the string so the hot dog is hanging just below her
knees. Next set a mouse trap and place it in the middle of
the floor. The object is for the player to set off the mouse
trap with the hot dog by squatting over it (no hands!) but
without getting the hot dog caught. If no one does it
without getting their hot dog caught then the person with
the longest hot dog left wins. I've never laughed so hard in
my life. more games
Scavenger Hunt
After having a group of the girls meet at a house the bride
was given a list of bars to go to and items she had to get
at each bar. ie: we went to a real dive bar and she had to
find three business cards from the patrons, we went to a bar
called "Misty's Fifty's" and she had to collect 50 pennies
from the customers. A sports bar she had to have her picture
taken with ten single men. She even had to go into a strip
club and get a condom from either the washroom vending
machine, or a customer. She was labeled "Bride-to-Be" and
had at least ten of us with her at a time. The bars were
good about it because we told them when we went in what we
were doing and we bought a round at each bar. Make sure you
have a DESIGNATED DRIVER for this one!!! Tons of fun!!!
Hot Dog in a Bottle
You tie a string on a hot dog. The string should be long
enough to be wrapped around the hot dog and the waist of a
female. You tie the string around the person so that it
hangs between their legs. It is best to have it have it
hanging around the back side. You than have a bottle that
has an opening larger than the hot dog but not to much
bigger. Than the person squats down to try to dip the hot
dog into the opening of the bottle.
Yum, Lifesavers
This game is close to "suck for a buck" but a little more
risky. The bride to be wears a plain white T-shirt with
Lifesavers candies attached all over it. This is easy to do
by just getting the back of the candy wet and sticking it to
the shirt. Guys pay a buck to suck the candy off of the
shirt! This is hilarious and is sure to make the bride the
center of attention wherever you go! more
games
Teddy Love
You must save your gift for last in this game. after all of
the other gifts have been opened, you describe how your gift
is so wild and exotic that the bride should not have to be
the first one to wear it, she night need some help on how to
put it on, etc. really embellish and play this up. explain
that one of the guests must model this lingerie for all of
the guests. the lucky person will be chosen by a round of
musical chairs. once the person is picked, give them the box
and send them to change. enclosed in the box they will find
a giant teddy bear and this set of instructions:
1. pretend you are looking at the most unbelievable piece of
lingerie.
2. yell and act as if you are embarrassed, shocked...(oh my
word, what will my father say...etc.)
3. take a minute or two. act as if you are taking off your
clothes.
4. ask for help from (the name of person running this game).
At this point, you rush to the rescue. act as if you are
helping her. If you don't play this up it will never work.
have the guest roll up her pant legs and sleeves. hold a
towel up to cover her body but lake sure her bare arms,
legs, and feet are showing. have her hold the teddy bear
behind the towel. with the towel still covering her body,
lead her into the other room. on the count of three drop the
towel and reveal the unbelievable teddy.
Hummm... Donuts
Hang large powdered donuts with a string on a clothesline.
Have participants stand in front of the donut with their
hands behind their back (may have to adjust the length of
string according to height). The object of the game is to
lick off as much powder off of the donut, without biting or
breaking the donut, in 60 seconds. more games
Lemon Balls
You place a lemon in each leg of one stocking. You wrap the
stocking around the participants waist so that the lemons
are dropped low enough in front. You place a 1/3 full gallon
soda bottle in front on the floor. The object of the game is
to swing your hips back and forth to make the lemons knock
the bottle down. Whoever does it in the least amount of time
wins the prize. It's really funny because of the sexual
hint. The swinging of the hips back and forth and having the
lemons drop on you. It's funny and fun.
Eat the Pickle
What you do is buy a large jar of whole pickles (preferably
extra large pickles) tie kite string through the top of the
pickle with about three feet to spare. Then take all of the
pickles and hang them on a patio ceiling at the different
heights of your guest. Have each guest stand under a pickle
with their hands behind their backs. The object of the game
is to eat the pickle within one minute (time can vary) who
ever chews away most of the pickle wins the game, without
any assistance from anyone or their hands. This game could

Triple DD Anyone?
I have made a bridal stagette for a friend of mine. What I
did was went to a Novelty adult store and bought some blow
up boobs. We put the blow up boobs around the brides bra and
made her a plain t shirt that says" Buy me a shooter and I
will show you my hooters" You wouldn't believe how many guys
go for this and so every time a shooter was bought she had
to flash these blow up boobs you can't see nothing but the
fake ones so it hurts no one, tons of laughs and tons to
drink!
For the Daring
He dressed his sister up in long underwear with a trap-door
in them, and drew a bikini on it with permanent markers.
Then we were off to a local bar, where we had her
autographed. It was interesting because there were so many
messages of wishing her well, etc. Things turned out pretty
well, and since it's in permanent ink, it'll be good for
laughs for many years to come. more games
How Long Can You Hula?
You buy several hula hoops according to haw many guests you
have. For example, I am having about 80 guests and 10 at
each table: 8 hula hoops. One person per table comes up and
the idea of the game is who can hula hoop the longest. And
that person wins a prize. (Don't forget the music.)
His Legs?
We blindfolded the bride to be and lined up several guys.
She had to feel their legs and decide which ones belonged to
her beloved. The guys kept on switching places to try and
confuse her, but she knew her man's legs! It was very funny.
Candy Bar Poems
The hostesses of the party put several items on a tray and
cover it with a towel or blanket. Separate the guests into
groups. Show the contents of the tray to one group at a
time. Each group only gets 30 seconds to try and remember as
many of the items on the tray as possible. Then they must
write a poem about the bride and groom using the names of
the items on the tray. The group that uses the most items
wins. The poems go something like... When Jane met Bob, she
was thrilled to learn he had 100 Grand. She was so happy she
yelled YooHoo and went shopping on Park Avenue. Candy bars
are often good choices, but get creative. The poems are
funny. Have each member of the group sign the poem and put
the finished poems in a memory book for the bride.

Gingerbread
Prior to the bridal shower, bake gingerbread men (enough for
the all the guests plus a few extra in case some break).
Also get together all sorts of items that can be used to
decorate the gingerbread men, including non-edible stuff.
Here you are only limited by your imagination, but some
suggestions include:
hundreds and thousands
small choc bits
ribbon
different bits of material
string
wool
On the day of the shower, prepare icing. This will be used
to stick the above onto the gingerbread men.
The purpose is for each male guest to decorate the
gingerbread as a bride, and each of the women to decorate
the gingerbread as a groom, using any of the available
material. Some of the guest will be quite creative, and you
will end up with some funny looking "brides" & "grooms". The
bride &groom can choose the best gingerbread couple!

Encore
Divide into teams. Put wedding significant words (one per
slip, ex. wedding, chapel, love, kiss, bride, groom, music,
flowers, etc.) on pieces of paper and put them in a bowl.
Team A draws a slip of paper and has to sing at least 4
words of a song with that word in it then team B has to
match them and back and forth until someone is stumped then
the other team gets point. The Team with the most points
wins.
